Congratulations! You have landed or are about to land an important interview (s) and obviously, you want to do succeed at it. GolpoCoaching will help you present your best story. Why am I perfectly positioned to help you? Because I am one of those rare individuals who enjoy being interviewed and interviewing others. From successfully navigating my first retail job interview at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in New York as a new immigrant to a Marketing Manager job at the consumer goods giant Unilever after graduating from the London School of Economics, from preparing 50 (yes 50!) prompts for my Harvard Business School MBA Admission Interview to multi-round multi-format interviews to land a coveted management position at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), I have viewed the interview as a gift. I have also been a hiring manager for more than 15 years and have assessed hundreds of candidates for various roles in the private sector, university admissions, and the government/nonprofit sector. I have helped more friends and colleagues than I can count prepare for interviews using my special techniques, long before I became a certified coach.
Tell me, how do you define an interview? It happens anytime you are engaging in a professional dialogue with someone with whom you share a mutual interest. Whether it is an information gathering warm or cold call, shaking hands at a networking event, a video submission about yourself, a behavioral or situation-based process, an initial HR phone screener or an in-person final round with the hiring executive, an interview is essentially a storytelling exercise. To succeed, your job is developing a deep awareness of your skills and strengths and using that knowledge to craft and articulate your best stories to answer questions.
While interviews can be generally anxiety inducing , I can coach you to reframe your approach. If we can train your mind to think of the interview as a gift, where a person (s) is taking the time to hear your most impactful stories and answer your questions, the interview becomes a process where you will be your confident, joyous self.
With my interview coaching, support extends well beyond generic advice you can find from a friend, online or a book—every session is customized to work on real interview questions, personal strengths, and communication style. The program is structured as follows:

Self-Discovery & Personal Branding
We will begin with an interview goals/needs assessment to uncover your unique background, aspirations, and target roles. We will focus on unique strengths and growth areas, forming the foundation for a compelling personal brand narrative. You will develop authentic elevator pitches and value statements that resonate across various interview formats.

Storytelling and Real-Time Interview Feedback
I will help you hone your best stories and practice through role play with candid, instant feedback. With your consent, I record sessions so we can analyze them and create action plans. Since no one can prepare for every question, my goal is to make you confident answering any challenge with skill and grace. I will also guide you in writing meaningful, personalized thank-you and follow-up notes.

Post Interview Evaluation and Assessment of Feedback
I can guarantee that the interview that’s top of your mind right now, won’t be your last interview. It’s critical to assess your performance for what went well and what could be improved for the next time. Also, if you receive any interview feedback, we can take constructive input and hone your approach. Most people find this post-interview self-analysis enormously helpful as they will go through untold interviews and professional dialogues in the future.
